Preparing Christmas...
Not much knitting done lately except for a few tiny Sock Blocker Keychains for my family and friends. I had to undo the Mock Cable Socks I was making for my Step-father because after turning the heel and completing the Gusset, I realized that the socks wouldn't fit his foot size... but mine! I think I am going to have to increase the needles size form #2US to #3US and I might not do the cable at all as it removes some of the sock's stretch...

It was not easy to find a place to set the Nativity Scene this year... I so miss the Fire Place's Mantel we had last Christmas in the other house! Those beautiful Santons de Provence (made of clay and hand painted by my talented Step-Father) still bring joy to my heart though...
The snow outside is also adding a charming touch to the indoors decoration...
It starts to really feel like Christmas!

I'm so jealous Isa, I want snow, You seem ready for christmas

How PRECIOUS!!! I love having a mantle!
I have nativities displayed ALL over the house! One in each bedroom, the hall, the kitchen AND on the mantle! :o)

Those sock block keychains are cute! Where did you get them from? Your nativity scene is really cute. I need to get one myself. I have a small wooden one, but it is more or less ornament size...I want a nice big one to set out on the table or someplace.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
From now on,
our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
From now on,
our troubles will be miles away.
Here we are as in olden days,
happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
gather near to us once more.
Through the years we all will be together
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
