Knitercising again!
Today, I wanted to work on that scarf for Red Scarf Project 2007, so I decided to knit and I spin ==> 17 miles! Miles go must faster when spinning than walking and I think the work-out is less intense, BUT Knitercising on the stationary bike is much safer than the treadmill.

Now this is the amount of knitting done while spinning for 17 miles - about 90 minutes. It is not much but still more than I would have done if I didn't take my knitting with me in the exercise room, right?
Six more inches to go for my scarf to measure 60 inches total! I might finish it tonight. Then, it will go to the Orphan Foundation of America first thing Monday, with scarf #1 and few goodies for the recipients of my scarves.

It looks MUCH safer to knit on the bike!!! I was worried if you fell you would impale yourself!!!
60 inches? Oh dear ... I forgot to measure ... I guess I better do that! I'm still knitting scarf #1!

Combining exercise and knitting is almost the only way I get myself to exercise. I'm glad I'm not alone in that insanity!

You are doin' good girl!!!!!! I can not believe that you have pedalled 29 miles and your legs don't hurt!!!!!! If I walk 1 mile at a quick clip, I get the most god awful shin splints! Guess that is one reason I am not too interested in knitercising or excercising! BLAH! lol! Your scarf is luscious!
