I like to design my Cloths accordingly with the events in my life, what I like or the mood of the moment. These two cloths are very special to me for multiple reasons, but I am only going to talk about what has motivated my decision to make them.
The Memory Cloth is dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust's victims and to Anne Frank. I am reading her Diary right now - not for the first time at all, but for the first time in English - and I am always deeply moved by that terrifying story every time I read it... Anne did not survive the Holocaust but her diary has inspired millions of people all over the world to do their best for a better world.
Now, did you know that the more than 150 years old chestnut tree that Anne Frank often looked from the attic window at behind the secret annex and that she mentions in her diary, is hopelessly diseased and is going to be removed?
Please, visit the website and leave your leaf in the virtual chestnut tree (it is free), forward it and make tree live on to keep Anne Frank’s ideals alive.
