Knitter's Virtual Vacation Swap
Boooyah!!! (yep, I watch BB.
) Yesterday, I got my Virtual Vacation package from my spoiler, Susan in California! Within all my traveling, that is a state I have physically never been - yet...
Well, thanks to the swap and to Susan, Lady Tricotine virtually went to Hollywood!

There were so many goodies in my mysterious parcel that I had trouble to fit it all in a single photo! Well, as a matter of fact, I didn't have to because my Little Tricotines couldn't wait to have their goodies... So I took a picture of their treats first, so they wouldn't have to wait for me to shot everything. They were very excited; I guess they are like their Mommy and like surprises - but who doesn't? Even Mister Tricotine attented the opening of the magic box... ![]()
Kids got Cars and Little Mermaid stickers - they love stickers - Sweet Tarts Squeez candy, Crayolas and two cute duckie straws that would make anyone feels like it is vacation time...
About that chocolate here above, it is actually worth a particular attention. Not only it was Rapsberry in Dark Chocolate, but is was like a postcard tablet! I love the color too), and containing one of Thomas Campion beautiful love poem inside the wrap. Now, how sweet is that, huh?
About my Virtual Vacation Souvenirs collected by Susan, I have to say that I wouldn't have purchased better if I had visited Hollywood myself: California illustrated keychain and little tray, a Disneyland magnet (Note: I wonder how Susan has known that I collect magnets of all the states I went...
) and from Hollywood, a very cinema illustrated plastic bag.
There was also a Lobster kitchen towel and pot mitt set, a kit to make the cutest little Piggie out of pompom and chenille - mine looks more like a drunk piggie though - and some Sheep decorated ribbon; not to forget that adorable tea mesh linked to a Christmas present, and Tazo tea samples.
And I kept what moved me the most for last, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation pen and its lovely tin box, and the yummy-O-so-yummy Hill Country Sweet Feet Sock Yarn, color Rapsberry Sorbet. It is so soft!
Now, the cherry on the top of the cake, this WON-DER-LI-CIOUS Project Bag that Susan made especially for me, using the most adorable Lobster fabric! I LOVE so it!
My current sock in progress had moved into it already, and she says (sock is feminin gender in French) that it is very comfy in there. Ziplog Bag has been sent off to the trash out-of-space... ![]()
WOW! I had never had a Sock Bag before and my heart is racing everytime I see it and touch it! The fact that it was especially handmade for me makes me feel special and gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling inside!

All that Touristic Information along with pamphlets and post cards of the most famous places to visit in California makes me want to go take a tour there for real now... ![]()
Huge THANK YOUs for being such a wonderful Touristic Guide and for being so generous and thoughtful in your spoiling, Susan! You Rock!
Sending you Bear Maine Moose's {{{HUGS}}} and gentle Lobster claw pinches from Maine... ![]()
Note: my spoilee Ari also enjoyed her vacation. She went to Maine...
That was definitely a fun swap! ![]()

Hey Isabelle!
You are so very welcome!!!!
It makes me very happy to see how much you enjoyed your goodies.
Your little Tricotine is indeed very smart. He is such a clever boy!
Good luck w/kindergarten. It is difficult for Mommies, but I'm sure you'll do fine :)

I just got the chilly willys... The moose clip art you used above is the SAME one I found about a year ago. I put it on a shirt for my girls. Maybe we are twins. Dodododo *Twilight Zone Theme*
