YAY!!! It is snowing today!!!
This weekend was great! First, Friday, I got myself a new Coffee Maker, the programmable kind, the one that keeps my Coffee ready when I get up in the morning! A dream come true! LOL I was heading to WalMart but somehow I got lost and I ended up at Target, right beside A.C. Moore...
Coincidence? Mmmmmh... Maybe... All I know is that I could not just driving by and not to stop right? LOL I mainly got some Sugar'n Cream Red Cotton for my Valentine Washclothes (they were only $.97 the ball!!!), an Afghan crochet Hook, sone Heart shaped Cookie Cutters and few little Surprises for my Secret Pal... Hush!
I also got myself few magazines... Knit it - Spring 2006 for its shrug pattern (on the cover - Thanks Wendy for pointing that shrug!) and Country Woman Feb. 2006 that has 2 cute Sweaters to knit for kids (p. 20)
Saturday was a nice warm day and the kids and I had lots of fun in our yard, sliding, swinging, playing soccer, riding tricycle, feeding the birds, picking up acorn caps for my Mirror Project. I just love that mirror! It is going to be so perfect in my entryway! My little feathered friends (Blue Jays and Chickadees) finally found their way to the other birdfeeder I had placed in our yard (see previous post here)! We even had a very special guest, a Cardinal, which is not usual!
When it got too chilly, we came back inside and DS painted his little bird house. He really did a great job for a first experience with painting! Then, he got a little carried away with finger painting...
Sunday, we went to ChuckE Cheese for lunch and to the Mall in the afternoon but somehow, I still had time to make 3 washclothes, a pair of Slippers and to work few more inches on the Eyelet Scarf... Inspired by the Love Day's KAL I am participating to, I made up a pattern of my own for a Love Washcloth... I will post it here soon... Now, that is what I call GOOD TIMES!
BTW, GO SEAHAWKS!!!
