
Because it was taken off the loaf pan a little too soon, it is oddely shaped at the bottom but this does not affect its taste in any way...
I didn't use wild blueberries though so 1 cup of regulars might be a little too much because they are usually bigger.
Besides, they all fell at the bottom of the cake. I should have known better! My Maman always told me to coat any fruits with flour before adding them to the mixture, to keep them nicely in place in the cake... Silly head of mine!
It also seems like my cake is a little too brown on top and that is because I am not use to my new oven yet... The recipe instructs to cook the loaf for 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees F but it took only 30 minutes for my cake to be this cooked... I am so glad DH checked on it before the timer rang! :)
