Do you know that when you take a walk on the Southern Maine Coast in Fall , you are very likely to encounter more than Sea Shells and Joggers?

That gives an idea of temperatures in the area, huh?

Although it was a nice day for the season, our last Saturday walk on the beach was shortened because of the freezing wind. We know that it is always more windy on the beach, but we didn't expect that cold and certainly not that day, because it was not windy at all in town...
Anyway, it was right there, on that beach, looking at my red-nosed little one wearing my wrist warmers (way too big for her) that I realized that DD needed more than Beanie and Scarf even to face Autumn outdoors... I thought I would have time to finish a few other projects first, but I was obviously wrong!
So, back home - motivated by Guilt (with a big G) - I grabbed some Merino Wool and my favorite Needles and I knitted my little heart out until my work was done. And this is what I made for her:

Yarn: Patons Classic Wool, color Petal Pink - 1 skein for both projects.
Needles: Dbpns & Circular #8US

Those were FUN and QUICK Knits.
All in the round, there was few ends weaving but no seaming at all!
