My Irish Hiking Set is now almost complete. Well, unless I decide to add a pair of IH Socks...
Due to my freezing experience on the beach the other day, I understand that a Head Band is more an ornament than real protection against the cold weather.

So, I got myself some more of that Lion Wool yarn - color Winter White - and I completed a Irish Hiking Hat. A little more than a 100g skein were necessary to make that hat the way I wanted it to be.
I made it deep just the way I like, with a large fold up and cabled all the way through the top decreasing, but I didn't do it as instructed in the pattern, but my own way.
I am pretty happy with the way it looks AND this project fits two Knit Alongs at once!
