2006 has been a busy stitching year, full of discoveries and experiments. You see, my Husband was studying a lot and I had to keep busy, so I have completed 74 projects, my Record ever! That includes 9 pairs of Socks that I made in 2006, trying new techniques such as Magic Loop and 2 Circular Needles, Afterthought Heel, Socks with big Toe (Geisha Socks) Two Socks-at-Once and Top-Up socks. It was also the first time I was knitting a Lace & Cable pair of Socks (Beaudelaire).
Also worth to be mention here, my first Knitted Doily - that I am quite proud of completing despite the difficulty of that challenge - Two-Half Scarves joined in the middle with Kitchener stitch and my first (Garter) Entrelace experience.
In 2006, I tried - more or less succesfully - to narrow my Stash although I became more interested in knitting Wool and other Natural Fibers rather than Acrylic; but Super Wash still has my preference for the obvious convenience of its easy care.
