Remember the Picovoli I made myself last year? Well, I had one skein of that wonderful Shine Sport left, and I thought it would be nice to use it to make my little one a matching Baby Pico or a Baby Pico Dress (with fabric), depending on how far that skein would take me, because I DO NOT WANT to buy any more of it! I have a Stash to reduce, you know...
So, to set my #4US circular needles free, I have unravelled that Pico #2 that was on hold for too long, because I knew I would never finish it. Why? Because Acrylic Baby Sport is NOT a good yarn substitute for that project...
But I disgress... To make my Baby Pico a 24 months size, I cast on 100 stitches, made the Picot edge 4 rows instead of 3 instructed in Grumperina's pattern (to prevent the rolling), and I used April's 3 Needle Knit Off method because it is such a briliant idea.
But, I don't think I am going to have enough of only one skein to even get to the underarm of my baby Pico Dress... I am going to have to be creative here...
To be continued...
