After a little struggling, my Seduction sock #1 is finally completed!
I did the original stitching, the one with the lacy effect and little twists, and I have to say that the sock looks much better (to me) when it is not streched, like it is on a sock blocker or even on my foot... I really like the squiggly lines between the gaps, but it is too bad that they don't show so well when the sock is worn...

Besides, and despite the fact that I have cast on 8 additional stitches, and made my heel a little deeper than instructed in the pattern, the design and the squiggly lines still stretch on the insteap of the sock; less than it did initially but still...
On a positive note, Regia Bamboo Red Spot Color 1059 is a dream to work with, and I also like the tiny dabs of color that spice up the sock's design.
Now, making #1 was exhausting something! Let's just say that the pattern is far from being boring, and hope that Sister Sock Syndrome won't delay the cast on of Sock #2...
It would feel great now to take a break from that project and put my mind on something else for a while, but I have heard that the best prevention to SSS is to cast on sock #2 right after finishing sock #1, so...
I guess I HAVE to...

The Favorite Socks KAL... I just got myself that fabulous book, and I am really tempted by the idea of making Meida's Socks, Embossed Leaves Socks, Retro Rib Socks, Uptown Boot Socks and Go With The Flow Socks...
Now, would that be unreasonable?
