My blast. Not enough time to see all, but they have a website... My in-the-rush purchase, two skeins of that Italian Cotton/Superwash/Nylon blend sock yarn that I had never heard of before. I hope it is a good one...
Kids' blast. First time in the Subway! A little scary at first, but fun anyway... We preferred to park our car and to take the "T", because we thought it would be easier to find our way through the city...
Mister Tricotine's blast. The point of our trip to Boston was not to attend a Red Sox game, because Portland's Sea Dogs were playing. Nope, Mister Tricotine wanted to see Fenway Park. Oh, and this too... Go figure...
They Mister Tricotine said that there is no hot dog worth the notorious Fenway Hot Dog. So, of course we had to give it a try... Now, I am no expert - a hot dog is a hot dog to me - but according to my picky eater of a Husband, IT WAS good!
And then, at the end of a long and tiring day climbing all those stairs in the subway, a blast for the whole family, Popeye's! We had not eaten at Popeye's since Georgia... Too bad they didn't have honey to spread on the chicken, but the biscuit were as delicious as we remembered in our good old days...
At the end, each of us had something to enjoy in the "big city"!
Compromise is not such of a bad thing after all... Mmmh?
