Isn't that impressive how a simple but well placed Kbl stitch (Knit in the back loop) can make a pattern look good? I would have never imagine!
I am working on another project for Red Scarf Project 2007 that is ending at the end of the month, and for that second scarf, I chose to make Stephanie, the Yarn-Harlot's One Row Handspun Scarf. I am using no fancy Handspun yarn (I wish) but the stitching still looks awesome!

Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver, color Wine, from my stash
Needles: Straight U.S. #8 (5 mm)
Pattern: HERE
I really like the texture of that scarf and the so simple and easy to memorize pattern; a ONE ROW repetition all along! How cool is that? No, not boring... actually really cool! Besides, it goes up pretty quickly. I cast on tonight and I have already made 8.5 inches (22 cm) just watching TV! From time to time, I like projects that allow me to think about something different than what my hands are doing: the cruise-control projects as I call them!
The photo doesn't give justice to the deep Burgundy Red of the scarf, but I wanted to focus on the stitching rather than the color for now. I will post a color picture later when the scarf will be finished.
This is my priority project right now because I want to send my scarves out as soon as possible, but I am pretty sure that I will make more of that One Row Scarf!
